About Me

I am a proud native of Terrebonne Parish and a lifelong supporter of the City of Houma. I attended both public and private schools locally and later earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Nicholls State University. My wife, Colette, also a Houma native, and I made a deliberate decision to raise our two daughters in the community that shaped us, reflecting our deep commitment to this region and its future.

I honorably served 22 years in the Louisiana Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of E-8 (First Sergeant/Master Sergeant). Throughout my military career, I held key leadership roles in both mechanized infantry and military police units. I successfully led and managed troops across the United States and overseas, demonstrating strong organizational leadership, operational planning, and personnel management in complex and high-responsibility environments.

In 1991, I began my career with the Houma Police Department, dedicating 33 years to serving and protecting our community. Over the course of my career, I advanced through numerous leadership roles. I served as a patrol officer and later supervised the patrol division. I worked as a detective and ultimately became Chief of Detectives. I also served as a crime scene technician and supervised the Crime Scene Investigation Division. I concluded my law enforcement career as a Captain in Administration, overseeing all investigative divisions, including Criminal Investigations, Narcotics, SWAT Operations, and Crime Scene Investigations.

With decades of proven leadership experience in both military and law enforcement service, I believe I am uniquely qualified and prepared to serve as the City Marshal of Houma. My career reflects a steadfast commitment to integrity, accountability, and the safety of the community I proudly call home.
